Judges Mrs. Betty
MacGregor of Kippen and Mrs.
Jean Baker of Clinton spent
almost two hours in selecting
the winning baby. The two
nurses said they considered
alertness, perception, age and
cleanly appearance in judging
the babies, adding that it was a
difficult job to pick a winner
from among so many entries
who all deserved recognition.
Sheila Cook, who was judged
tops in the six months to one
year age group, went on to win
as first place baby in the entire
Baby Show by default, when
Jill Betties of Seaforth the
winner of the under six months
category, could not be found for ,
the final judging.
