Singles' Dance last Saturday
contributed another $69.50 to
the fund. raising the collection
total to $292.75.
Thanks are extend to all of

wishing to contribute to the
Brandon Fund is asked to

"Canadian Rye -Whiskey," I cut..
that picture out and took it to
school and showed all the kids.
They thought it looked like a lot
of fun and I bet it was.
Another thing that interested
me were the pictures and ar-
ticles of the Bayfield Figure
Skating Club's Carnival. This
interested me because of all the
new and different ideas they
had and it was nice to see what
other clubs across, Canada had,
besides the ones that we have
around here and in Calgary and
.Lethbridge. The Calgary and
Lethbridge clubs are big, and
have something like a thousand
pupils. The pictures did make
me curious on whether or not
Bayfield has any boys in their
Club?
Every time we get the paper,
it seems to bring Clinton all
back tor me; friendly people
going to and fro on their busy
errands, and yet if you stop
someone on the street and ask
directions, they will stop with
that friendly smile on their
faces and give you the direc-
tions as though it was no bother
at all.
I was in Clinton last summer
for a holiday and to visit my
relatives, and it didn't seem to
have changed since the sum-
mer before when I was there
for my uncle's wedding. There
were still the friendly people,
the old town hall and the old
