Miss Carol Burnett, part of 'The Gary Moore Show' family for a number of years, was given her own show in 1967 by CBS. Like Moore, she 'wilt the success of her variety series on a strong stock company of comedy actors. The Burnett 'Family' was initially made up of second banana specialist Harvey Korman (formerly with 'The Danny Kaye Show'), an- nouncer Lyle Waggoner and pretty Vicki Lawrence. Carol Burnett was born in San Antonio, Texas and attended UCLA on a journalism scholarship.
