RESIDENT WRITES
The following is a note from
Ed Davies, a resident of
Auburn, now holidaying for the
Winter in Florida:
" l'm Proud of Auburn, a
village where yell can depend
on your neighbours and friends.
Auburn is a small village iwithh
abou' 200 people. It
gateway for tourists, located
twelve miles from Goderich, a
summer resort on Lake Huron.
You can take your vacation
right here. Auburn is located on
the Maitland River.
"You can go boating for
pleasure, go fishing for rainbow
trout or pike - go hunting for
deer in season. Whether you
come for a visit or to live here
you will never forget a friend is
more precious than money or
possessions. Without a village
like Auburn, life would be like a
garden without a rose."
