angers havefun in Barrie
On the first of November
Mrs, Keith Aden and the First
Clinton Ranger Company went
on their first trip together to
Barrie, Ont. They left after
school at 4 p.m. and arrived at
St. Andrews Anglican Church
in Barrie at 7 p.m. The girls and
their leader spent the night in
the church, Mrs. Allen being
with other leaders and the girls
sleeping in a separate room
with other Rangers. While
thelre, everyone made many
new friends, as Ranger
Companies from' the entire
Silver Birch Area were
gathered there. Altogether,
there were approximately 45
girls and everyone enjoyed
themselves tremendously.
On the second of November,
which was a Saturday,

St. Andrews Church. After that,
everyone saw slides of the
Kitchener -Waterloo Ranger
Company's trip to Europe, and
then they listened to a very
interesting talk on back
packing. The different com-
panies then designed posters
advertising their specific
divisionsa., and then everyone
had fun in a uniform designing
competition, using newspapers.
A campfire dosing was then
held and everyone said good-

All in all it was a weekend
enjoyed by all and it proved to
be both interesting and
educational for many Rangers
and Leaders.
