HuIh'ii girls
win tourney
It wasn't until the last whistle
was blown that the winners in
the annual volleyball tour-
nament; held at Central Huron
Secondary School last Satur-
day, were decided.
The competition was so close
in fact, that it took a com-
. plicated points system and win
loss record to decide who
eventually won.
Hullett Central was declared
the winner in the girls division
on the bases of games won,
after there was a three way tie
for first spot. Hullett, Huron
Centennial and Clinton all
finished' with 13 points each,
however, Hullett was placed
first, Huron Centennial second,
and Clinton third.
Blyth Public finished fourth
with nine points, Holmesville
Public finished fifth with seven
points, and Seaforth finished
last with five points.
There was also a tight race in
the boys division, with Seaforth
taking home the title after tying
Huron Centennial, each with 13
points. Seaforth was declared
the winner by virtue of their
win over Huron Centennial,
Hullett finished third with 11,
points, the same as fourth place
finisher Clinton, who were
beaten by the Hullett team.
Holmesville finished fifth
with seven points, and Blyth
finished sixth, having collected
five points.
