couple of employees of K -Decorating of Clinton painted
part of a house on Gibbings Street that was damaged

Lois and Edward Wise of
RR 3, Clinton, taught the
new round dance (Forget -
me -not -Waltz) and also cued
rounds from 7-8 p.m.
Gerry and Dorothy
Dumont (formerly of Clin-
ton) invited the Clinton
group to their horde for a
lovely lunch following the
dance. Two of the local
couples will be attending. the
l l th Annual Aloha State
Square dance convention in
Hawaii February 6-11. They
fly from Toronto February 2
for 'a three-week vacation.

held their first general
meeting of 1975 with over 25
members in attendance at
Hullett Central School in
Londesboro on Sunday,
January"26.
Plans for the annual dance
were discussed. It will , be
held in Seaforth Arena Hill
on Friday, April 11 with the
Harbour Lights _ playing.

Mrs. Anthony Van Dyke of
Three Rivers, Quebec, who
has been a house guest for
ten days with Mr. and Mrs.
Sim Roobal,_ returned with

Chatham' before leaving for
Quebec. While in Ontario,
Mrs. Van Dyke visited in
Wyoming, Goderich,
Seaforth and Woodstock.

At recent examinations of
the Royal Conservatory of
Music, Jill McLellan passed
her grade 2 Theory with
honours, and Barbara
McCurdy passed her
Preliminary Theory
examinations with honours.
Jill is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Ken McLellan of
Kippen, and Barbara is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Don McCurdy of Hensall.
Both girls are pupils of Miss
Greta Lammie.

Elden Mcllwain of RR 1,
Clinton. He was 81.
Mr. Mcllwain was born in
Goderich Township and
received his education at
township schools prior to
commencing farming which
he carried on throughout his
life.
He is survived by his
widow, the former Florence
Kingswell, to whom he was,.
married in Goderich on June
20, 1934; by a son George 44
Redford Crescent, Stratford;
and by two daughters,
Helen, Mrs. Jack Crozier,
Kincardine and Mary, Mrs.
Carl Merner, R1 1 Clinton.
He also is survived ,by ten
grandchildren. He was
predeceased by two brothers
and .tw'o 'sisters.
The remains are resting at
the G.A. Whitney Funeral
Home, Seaforth, where a ...
service was conducted by

Londesboro United Church
on Friday, January 24.
Temporary -interment
