preaches non-violence and his
beliefs are constantly put to
the test as he wanders
through the American west of
the 1870's. David Carradine is
the son of veteran character
actor John Carradine. In
1966, • David starred in the
short-lived television version

Actress Karen Valentine
has returned to weekly
television as star of the new
ABC situation comedy
'Karen'. The pretty
California television actress
won an Emmy for her role in
the longrunning 'Room 222'

quite a battle ahead of her —
the network placed her show
directly opposite CBS's 'The
Waltons'. But then again
Valerie Harper and her
`Rhoda'' series took on and
defeated the giant of giants in
ABC's 'Monday Night
Football'.
