Michael Landon (Little .Joe for
14 years on the highly successful
'Bonanza' series) turned
producer for his second television
series. In fact, Landon's interests
in the 'Little House', series are as
demanding as they are complex.
Landon serves as executive
producer (sharing the'load with
Ed Friendly), director, oc-
casional writer and, of course, .
star, of the 1870's series. Rumors
have it Michael is out to make
'Little House' a success single-
handedly. And_ he may just have
fallen on a secret winning com-
bination - talent and deter-
mination - since the series has

* Writer Tracy Keenan Wynn
has signed an exclusive contract
with Columbia Pictures'
television arts to write and
develop -made-for-TV movie
properties. The young script-
writer was responsible for last
season's top award-winning 'The
Autobiography of Miss -lane Pitt-
man'. He is the son of actor -
comedian Keenan Wynn and
grandson of the late Ed Wynn.
* The longest running
primetime series on television
these days is the immortal 'Gun -
smoke'. Marshall 'Matt Dillon
got his video start in 1955 after
playing on radio for a good part
of the preceeding decade. Actor
William Conrad (very big these
days as TV's 'Cannon') played

Hallick attended Southern
Florida University and once had.

vationist, groups. Robert Delaney
('Another World') is portrayed
by veteran daytime actor Nicolas
Coster. A physical fitness en-
thusiast, Nick likes swimming

He and his wife, former actress
