Courses offeredfor farmers
Huron County farmer ' will
have a large number of chances
this winter to bone up on
agriculture, according to a list
of courses being offered in the
next several months by the
ministry of agriculture.
The educational program
started last Wednesday with a
beef ration building workshop
and next Wednesday, January
15, "economics ' in a beef
Varna
feedlot" will be offered. All
courses are at the Agricultural
offices in Clinton unless other-
wise noted. .
'Beefinen will have another
course "parasites and their con-
trol on beef cattle" on Wed-
nesday, January 22, and
dairymen will have three chan-
ces to discuss , dairy

Clapp, a dairy specialist, on

very interesting course on
February 18, and the dairymen
will lie interested in the "milk
quality -workshop" on March 4..
The courses will only cost $3
per day plus meals and there is
limited overnight accom-
modation available at the
college. The fees are payable
the first day of each course.
In order to ensure a seat at
any of the courses, farmers
should either return the in-
terest card as soon as possible,
or contact t`he Clinton
agricultural office or Centralia
College.
Within a few weeks, all of the ,walls for the new covered
--pool .at Vanastra will be up, as work started last week.
