Youmatoff "Comfort Ye My 'People" The choir sang Holy Night and Carol Sweetly Carol. The Nine Lessons were read by different members of Ctt'ie church: LQis- Wise reading the first -lessons, Rev. Youmatoff they second lessons; _, ,A ..udr.ey,.- Middleton the third.; Edward Wise the . 'ourth; Ray Wise the fifth; John Deeves, Sixth Lesson; Seventh by Len Mills; Eighth by Blanche Deeves; Nineth by Rev. Youmatoff. Holy Communion •waa held Christmas , Eve at St. James Middleton with the church lit with candles and a Christmas tree complete with lights.. Many guests were ' present from various places. The Vestry meeting of St. James Middleton will be held Jan. 7th 8 p.m. at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Youmatoff. • , m Personals Mrs. Fred Middleton and families were all together for Christmas . at the home of —Robert Campbell. Mrs. Fred Middleton and heir families will all get together on. the 29th -at the home bf Wm. Counter, Mr. and Mfrs. Edward Wise enjoyed. having their entire family home for Sunday sup- per. Glad to. report Roy and Ed- ward Waise's mother, Mrs. Emma Wise, is a hei home now and doing nicely. Glad to report also that Jenny ' Wise, a ,former member is doing well at her home:". Mr. and Mrs. Jim Connolly and girls spent the weekend visiting relatives and friends in London. Mr. and Mrs. Greg Castrenis of Stratford ,spent a few • days with Mum and Dad Smith. Mrs. Morrell spent a day with her daughter, Marion Smith. • Mr. and Mrs. Jack Smith and Mary were guests at the Nelson -Troyer wedding at Hen- sall recently. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Deeves, John and Len, spent Christmas day in Chatham at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Cooper. Mrs. Deeve's daughter Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kilgaur and children are visiting with Mr .and Mrs. Jack Smith. Mr. John Deeves represented the Middleton church"st Fred Hulls funeral Dec. 24th. Sorry to report since writing this :report Mrs. Emma Wise has returned to Clinton Hospital. Mr. and Mrs.. Dennis Kelly' are' spending New Years at the home of Sandra's parents, Ed- ward Wise.
