Brown, plasterer, of this place, and daughter of Mr. R. Bruneton, of Lnndon, rose early to get her husband's breakfast as usual. The morning being very cold she took her baby, aged 18 months old, from the bed, and placed it in a high chair and put' him near the stove. The tea pot was set down near the baby, and while the mother bad her back turned the little one drew the contents of the boiling tea into its lap, scalding the baby in a most frightful mannuer. Ai doctor was celled in and everything done to relieve the little sufferer, bat it lingered until Saturday last, when death oame and relieved him of all pain.
