' KNOX CHURCH ;MISSION BAND The members of Knox church :t1is- sion Land held their December meeting on Sunday afternoon. Taking the form of a carol service, this meeting proved to be one of the most interesting so far. The president, Barbara Schutz, ably conducted carol -singing, with descants sung by the senior group. The Junior Band contributed Christ- mas carols with motions. A favorite carol, •"Silent Night," was sung by Lorna Pratt. In addition, the 'Christ- mas story was read ny Barbara Schutz and the prayer given by Ruth McNevin. Calendar gifts, made by the Senior Bands were on display -t.thring the meeting. A Christmas treat was dis- tributed and the meeting closed with the Lord's Prayer.
