WILLIAM WILSON' There was': a' large attendance of i citizens from Goderich and vicinity at 'the funeral service for William Wilson on Saturday afternoon, held at the home of Mr. and Mrs, Albert Powell, Mucks street. The service- was con - d uetetl by Re)'. G. W. H. :Hedley.-_ of the Baptist church. The .pallbearers were George Leitch, Leonard McGee, Albert Powell, Harold Sheardown, Charles Mero and Laverne Culbert. Interment was in Maitland cemetery. The fine young citizen. who during the war bars served is the Royal Can- adian Navy as 'an able seaman, was fatally injured in a motor accident last Thursday' near Hanover. His tragic death deeply shocked the citizens ofy�.ti n and country, and sincere sym- pathy •was expressed for his young Life, the former Elaine Aliiii, and -the bereaved family. Deceased was a son ; of the late Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wilson of Goderich. After the war he. joined • his brothers Robert and Thomas in the 'taxi business before being, employed by the Sandy Construction Company. Surviving are his stepmother, Mrs. R. E.
