place at Victoria street United church

30th,- when Rev. L. H. Turner united
in marriage l.lzt B. Craig, second daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs., Wm. J. Craig,
Auburn, and Harry •E: Worsell, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Carltou Worsell, Gode-
rich. The bride looked charming in a
street -length dress of sapphire blue
crepe with matching accessories. Her
corsage was of pink delight ruses and
blue lily of the Nile. Her only orna-
ment wt's a gold bracelet, the gift of
the groom. Mrs. Geo, L. Wilkin, sister
of the bride, was her only. attendant,
wearing a street -length dress of navy
blue crepe with* navy and White ac-
cessories. Her corsage was red roses
and carnations. Mr. Geo. L. Wilkin
was best man. Mr. and Mrs. Worsen
left immediately •un a motor trip to
Kitchener, Toronto, and Michigan. On
their return they will reside in Gude-
rich. -
GOURTNEY—O'CONNOR
On Saturday morning, August 30th,
at St. Joseph's church, Kingsbridge,
the marriage ,of Marcella Theresa
O'Connor, .. R.N., and Leo Joseph
Courtney was solemnized. Rev.
Michael J. Dalton; of Windsor, per;
formed the ceremony. The bride,
formerly of the staff of Westminster'
Hospital, -London, • is the daughter of
Mrs. M. J. O'Connor and the late..
Michael J. O'Connor„,_ of._ Kingsbridge.
The groom is the sort' of Mrs. Joseph'
Courtney and' the late Joseph Court-
ney, also of Kingsbridge. Given in
Marriage by her brother John, the
bride wase beautiful in a white
marquisette gown, fashioned with a
'tight bodice, and a bouffant skirt. Her
long veil was caught with a Joliet
cap, and -she carried' an arm -bouquet
of white rosebuds. Her attendants,
Miss Grace Courtney, of, Detroit, sister
of the groom, and Miss Mary Kinahan,
of London, a niece' of the bride, wore
gowns of aqua marquisette,.�fashioned
on the same lines as the bride's gown.

A wedding breakfast vva
at the Maitland -Golf Club: Goderich,
and was_ followed by an afternoon re-
ception at the O'Connor home. Many
local and out-of-town guests were pre-
sent. After a• wedding trip'”, to -the
Muskoka Lakes Mr.. and Mrs. Courtney
will make their home in Kingsbridge.
Mr. Victor Yungblut, who suffered a
fractured limb when 'he fell sometime
ago, was taken to a hospital, at Weston
ori Tuesday. /

period. After the singing of a hymn.
Mrs. Tolls led in prayer. Mrs. Earl
Wightman took charge for the pro-
gram. She expressed the wish that as
many as possible will attend the sec-
tional meeting of the Presbyterial to be
held at Goderich in October. It was
decided fo lloTd a bazaar and .sale -of
homemade baking in November. The
cripture was read by Mrs. Wightman

brocade flowers, "V" neckline and
matching fingertip veil. - She carried

Clara Leddy, sister of, the groom, was
gowned • in a floor -length gown of pink'
net over taffeta, with lace bodice, .and
matching i`eil. She carried a bouquet
of yellow .gladioli. The gtoom was
attended by his brother Earl, of

After the ceremony, .the bridal party
motored to Brooklin,'-where a reception
and dinner was held at the Brookliu•
Hotel. Mrs. Sopley,, receiving for the
bride, wore a flowered silk jersey
dress with white accessories and cor-
sage of sweet pens: • The groom's
mother assisted in a sapphire blue
1 dress 'with grey and goit�l' accessories,
and •corsage of pink' carnations.

two-piece dress of black and white
check, with silver and black accessories

return they will make their home in
Oshawa.

playing the wedding music. The bride

Death of Reginald W. Hodgins
Professor .Lloyd Hudgins and Miss
Mabel Hudgins were called to Toronto
on Friday owing to the death, of their
brother, Reginald W. Hudgins, which
occurred that day at Toronto. Begin -
hid .Walter Hudgins was the youngest
son of the- late Rev. James Walter
IMudgins, a, former rector of Trinity
church, Bayfield, .and later of St.
Thomas' church, Seaforth. He Was
born at the rectory, Seaforth. He at-
tended the Collegiate at Seaforth and
later 'Trinity *College School,` Port
Hope. On leaving school lie went with
the Bank of Montreal, with whom he
served until the outbreak of World
War I. After his discharge from the
array lio went to California, where he
was for many years an .accouiktant at
Santiago, Of recent years he had been
an accountant with the Ontario Mutual
Association - at Toronto. Unmarried,
he is survived by two sisters, Miss
Mabel I•Iudgins, of Toronto, and 'Mrs.
Cameron MacNeil ,of •Cleveland, 'Ohio,
and .,one brother,' Professor Lloyd -
Hodgins, of Trinity College, Toronto.

gave an instructive talk and an inter-
esting paper on "Peace and War" was

Death of Reginald W. Hodgins
Professor .Lloyd Hudgins and Miss
Mabel Hudgins were called to Toronto
on Friday owing to the death, of their
brother, Reginald W. Hudgins, which
occurred that day at Toronto. Begin -
hid .Walter Hudgins was the youngest
son of the- late Rev. James Walter
IMudgins, a, former rector of Trinity
church, Bayfield, .and later of St.
Thomas' church, Seaforth. He Was
born at the rectory, Seaforth. He at-
tended the Collegiate at Seaforth and
later 'Trinity *College School,` Port
Hope. On leaving school lie went with
the Bank of Montreal, with whom he
served until the outbreak of World
War I. After his discharge from the
array lio went to California, where he
was for many years an .accouiktant at
Santiago, Of recent years he had been
an accountant with the Ontario Mutual
Association - at Toronto. Unmarried,
he is survived by two sisters, Miss
Mabel I•Iudgins, of Toronto, and 'Mrs.
Cameron MacNeil ,of •Cleveland, 'Ohio,
and .,one brother,' Professor Lloyd -
Hodgins, of Trinity College, Toronto.
