Reg. McGee Feels Tawny Has Bright Future

Born and raised in Ashfield town -,-
ship, Mr. McGee farmed there until
cee the commencement Of World War L
After that he spent 'three months in
Western Canada, after which he went
to Windsor, 'Ont., where for a year
he was manager of the Imperial hotel,
near' the old Windsor -Detroit ferry
dock. I eturnhiig to Ashfield township,
he farmed' for ten years.
Moving to Goderich-in 1929, he'pur-
chased the -garage' on Hamilton street
on the old location from which he has
moved to his new garage. He has
lived in Goderich since that time.
Until last fall, Iteg. McGee farmed
5,00 acres of land in addition to oper-
ating a garage iii ,Goderich. He sold
200 acres, but still has 300 acres at
the well-known "Green Acres" farm.
This farm is equipped with the most
modern machinery and specializes in
the raising' of beef cattle.,
Apart from his farming and garage
interests, Mr. McGee has as hobbies
saddle horses and hockey, in both of -
which he is intensely 'interested.
Reviewing his business .career in
Goderich to date, Mr. McGee stated,
"I 'feel that in my twenty years in
the garage business in Goderich I have
98 per- cent. satisfied customers. I
d''°•ided to rhake my permanent home
in Goderich because I believe„ it is
one of the best bdisiness towns in On-
tario and I am confident that it has
a bright future ahead of it."
Reg. has four sons, Leonard, in
business with him, Alvin Attending
Goderich Collegia te Institute, and
_Ronnie 'and Kenneth attending Gode-
rich Public School.

Reg. McGee's new, modern gagage
will he officially opened to the general
public on Tuesday, July 22nd. The
public is cordially li v.ted to attt•ic(1.
Tire+ garage will be open for inspec-
tion at ,2 p,.in. on 'Tuesday and again
at 8 p.m.
Radio station CKNX v'ipl broadcast
direct from tpte new garage• between
and 10 p.m. This will be followed
by an Old-time and modern .dance on
the spacious, smooth new floors. Music
will be provided by the Gulden Prairie
Cowboys and entertainment will�be
put on by CKNX artists. Everybody
is welcome. Admission is free.

white in calor, the spacious new garage
of Reg; .thee cin Hamilton street is
rated as one .of the smartest and most
modern garages in Ontario.
Located at the corner of Hamilton

has ample frontage with a drive-in
paved with crushed red brick which
sets off beautifully the smart white
