Hopeful and Encouraging
Mr. Stewart expressed his appreei-.

• The Assembly was reminded that
the Presbyterian Church -should .be
dlhissionary-minded. There is a big job
to be done by the Christian church.
This can not be done until thE4 gospel •
of salvation is carried to the utmost ,
ends of the world, and Presbyterians
have a eoi tribution to ,make in this
regard. -
Itev. Dr., David Lang, of Newfound-.:
land, was chosen to preach the sermon,
in the assembly church in the morning;
an(1 Itev. Richard Stewart of Goderich
at the - evening worship. ' "It was a
great thrill," • Mr. Stewart aeknow-
ledged.
