Hospital, Goderich, on Sunday, June
1st, Mrs. Kurt W. Wall, after au ill-
ness of several years, although she
had been confined to the hospital for
only a week previous. beceased was
in her forty-ninth year and was a
daughter of the late , Mr. ''and Mrs.
Solomon Ludwig, of Wallace township,
Perth county; where she was' born and
lived until conning to Goderich with
her husband and family five- and a -half
years ago. They made •their home on,
Nelson street and attended.North "street
United church. She was married
twenty-threecyears ago to Mr. \\aI1,:
who with their_ two' children, a daugh-
ter, Marie, and a sett, Gerald, both at
home, survives. Other survivors are
four brothers, L'larenee, Harold and
Cecil Ludwig, all of "Listowel, and- Roy
Ludwig,__ of Gew•anstown, and three-

The funeral service was. held on Tues-
day at the Lutheran -church, Listowel,
of which deceased Was a member, .with
burial in the Lutheran cemetery, Wal-

Geelhaar, officiated; and the pallbearers

ham hospital on May 19th. Born in
Zorra township, he carne with his par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert McIntosh, to
Ashfield township in 4,863 and had

life. After his• marriage he and .his,
wife, formerly Isabella MacLennan, set-
tled err the 12th concession of Ashfield
near hemlock City. Three children'were
