ST. GEORGE'S GUILD
The June nieuting.- of ' St. George's
Church Women's Guild was held on
Tuesday. _Mrs. ji. B. M. Tichborne,
president, presided. Miss Mills read
the opening prayers and Mrs. P. Tru -
dell read the Scripture. Plans for the
garden party to be held in July were
discussed, and committees named. St.
Andrew's ftroup of the Guild held- a
Successful- tea and bake -goods sale on
the last Saturday in May. An invita-

tion was extendt. to the members to
'attend the clo4In meeting of the W.A.
to be held in the rectory on June 10th,
when it is expected Mrs. A. C. Calder
of London will address the meeting.
Mrs. R. 'Wilson was a guest at the
meeting and gave in her usual pleas-
ing manner two humorous readings
which were mtiell ejoyed by the Mem-
bers. -Miss Mills moved a vote of
thanks on behalf of the amial corn-
inittee. At the close Of the meeting
, _delicious aftertaoon tea was served by
'Mrs. Trudeil, Mrs. Palmer -and Miss
Stills.
