Kay Hall. The early part of the even-
ing Was spent at cards, twenty tables
being in play, some at --4500-'--an4--a -
few at. uchre. Winners at "500"- were
Mrs. N. Dawe and Mr. A. H! $•ane; at
euchre two Clinton guests carried off

An interesting program followed.
Clinton-"dYfeSts contributed several fine
nun bers : a solo by Mrs. Nediger, a
duet by Mrs. B. Sutter apd Miss
Sutter ; a solo by Miss Sutter, and a
reading by Mrs. McDonald. Little
Eleanor Driver gave two violin selec-
tions, Miss Cora Driver a solo, and
Mrs. Driver a violin number. Mrs.
W'endorf of Clinton accompanied at the
piano- and .gave a lovely. pianos solo.
After this prograralunc'h -was served;
with an abundance' of ice cream 'and
cake. and n hour's dancing to the
music of the4Melody Mixers brought an
enjoyable Pvening to a close.
