A short time before,' lloodless, on the invitation of Erlaud Lee of Stoney Creels, waS asked to speak at au even- ing meeting of the Farmers' Institute. She spoke on the value and need of teaching domestic science and sewing in the public schools, and finding that tIt( \\'0111(111 were- interested she sug- gested that an Institute for Women be formed, similar 'to the Farmers' Institute.
