A.—The value of canned sausage was
recently changed from four tokens per
14 -ounce tins to five tokens for two 14 -
ounce tins or 'two tokens for one 12 -
ounce tin.
Q –I am going to buq a grocery
business and I understand. 1 cannot
take over the ration documents without
notifying the Ration Administration.
Is this correct?.
A.—Yes. Any change in the owner-
ship -of • a business which deals in ra-
tioned foods must be repdi':ted im-
mediately to the local branch of the
Ration Administration, Quota docu-
ments and ration coupon bank accounts
cannot be transferred from one quota
user to another, nor can stocks of ra-
tioned foods be transferred without
authority of the Ration Administration.

Twelve Polish war veterans have so
far been placed on Huron county farms
as helpers. The National Employ trent
office in Goderich i.. continuing to re-
ceive .fapplicatictas from farmers • de-
siring to employ these veterans, all of
whotu have had prev iotas farm experi-
enee back in their native Poland before
the war. .
The first group of eight. came from
Fingal, the distributing point for
Western Ontario,. after .their arrival
from overseas. ,They reached the`Agri-
culturfrl office at Clinton -on November
20., and there the farmers who hired
them met them, These men.- went out'
_to the following farmers: L. Mitchell,
R.R. 3, Exeter; M.- Beckler, R.R. 1,
Hensall; Carl S. Govier, Auburn;
Major R. Youngblut, R.R. °1, Auburn;
G. Watt, R.R. 1, Blyth; H. Gelinas,

Ethel; E., Wilson, R.R. 3,. Brussels.
On November22-an additional four
veterans were placed with- the follow-
ing- farmers : J. McKinley, Zurich; T.
Shearer, Bluevale; Lewis \'i;,hltfield,
Blyth; Stanley Jackson, R.R. ` , Kippen.
