most of his life, Daniel MeZinnon
passed away in Clinton on Tuesday
morning. 1 -ie was a son of the late
John and Annie McIntyre MeZinon
, and was a teamster in GOdericla for
many years.e is survived by a

Chicago, and three sisters, Misses

respected resident of Gocierich. Mr.
Longnaire was preparing to retire when
he collapsed to the floor with a heart
attaeh, death following immediately.
He was in his seventy-fourth Year.
He was born at West Alonlabon, a son
of the late James Longmire and
Caroline Portertleld. At an early age
he moved with ti's parents, to kenfryn,
and later. to Atwood. .t the age of
seventeen, he began work as a section -
man on the .G.T.R. (now Canadian Na-
tional Raliways), and in- 1890 he mar -

born at Kingsbridge, the son of Mr.
and Mrs.' Maurice Dalton, and spent
forty -live years, in the railway mall
service. For thirty -live years he made
his home in Goderich, working .on the
Goderich-Buffalo run of 'the C.N4R.
and later on the Goderich-Toronto run.
I..Since his retirement t%n years ago he
had lived at '.I.ondon,' Mount Carmel
and Grand Rend. His wife; the former
Elizabeth Donna von, died fourteen
years ago. Sup-it'ing are a son, James,
Aloturt Carmel, and three sisters,
Bridget arid . Elizabeth • Dalton of
chivago and Mrs. Jennie Ready of
Seattle.
Requiem high mass was sung in' the4o
Churvii of Our Lady, Mount Carmel,
on. Wed n6's-clit-y niorning, and burial
taok place in the Ii man Catholic- ceme-
tery in colhorne township in the
afternoon. the service' at the cemetery
being. conducted by Rev. n. T. Fallon
