residing on St. Patrick's street. At the
age of twenty-one: he went" to the
United States and settledon a farm
in North Dakota. "Fifty-five years -ago
he moved to South. Dakota and located
at Rapid City, where 'he had since
lived. For many years he was it read
contractor, and for several terms • he
was ,a member of the city commission
of Rapid City. His wife, formerly
Sarah M. Elliott,' whom he married in
North Dakota; died la 1943, and sur-
viving are two and several grand-
ahlldren. A brother,' Albert OA, of
Wheeling, West- 'Virginia, is,,now the
only survivor of a family Of twelve.
