veterans of two wars -assembled at
the Legion Ljall on .Kingston street,
- Headed by We"- Blue -Water Band of
Goderieh,- .the - parade,- marehallee by
Wing Commiteder J. K. Stilly, pro-
ceeded Up Kingston street.and by way ef
the Square to ,Knox . Presbyterian
church. In the parade were service -
inn from eVery part of the county,
and some from More distant parts .of
the Empire. The Clinton Band headed
a detacluuent of veterans of the Can -
adieu Legion, and their beight red uni-
forms, - With the beautiful Unfurled
flags of the Legion bra:ilk:hes of Gode-
e-ich and Clinton, gave color to the
parade. Clue to two hundred airmen
.from the Centralia, and Clinton R.C.
A.F. stations,- including a smallde-
tachment of Royal Canadian Navy
awe, marched in the- parade, together
with more thanone- hundred veterans.
Almost every seat in the large audi-
torium. of Knox ehurch, ineludiug the
- galleries, was filled. The congregatiou.
muebered close to a thousand people.
