County Council Gives Bylaw Two Readings before Submission to Municipal Board By a vote of 17 to 7 Huron l'ounty Council, in special session. on, Friday night, passed a motion that a bylaw be prepared authorizing the •erection of a new Court house and that $250,000 in five-year debentures at 1% per cent. interest' be °issued to take care of the , financing of the building. First and second readings were given the bylaw. Before the third and, final readingit must be submitted to the Ontario Municipal Board for approval. -- Those voting in favor of the motion, which was moved by Reeve Roy B. Reeve Cecil Johnston of Ashfield didn't think the matter should be hur- ried and feared the eventual cost of the building would. be higher than was at present expected. Reeve - 13. W. Tuckey of Exeter thought the County would be well ad- vised to prepare the bylaw and sell the debentures now, since there might not be another opportunity to get the money easily and at a low rate of interest. Sky Harbor airport was tabled _until further necessary information on the subject was obtained. County Clerk Miller read letters revealing the desire of the County to .purchase all the buildings at Sky Harbor and not just some of them, and not just to lease the buildings._ A. letter read told of the Huron Flying Club's decision that they were . un - Willing to relinquish their -claims on the buildings at ,,Sky harbor. The Flying Club have expressed their de- sire to meet the.
