day, July 17, at 1 p.m., -when Rev.
D. J. Llane united 111 marriage Doris
Margaret Durniu and Douglas Gorbutt
Ball. The bride' is the 'daughter of
Mrs. Durnin and the late A..E. Durnin,
Lucknow, and the groom is the son
of Mrs. Ball and the late Nelson Ball,
Clinton. The bride, was lovely in a
powder blue dress With cascade front
and a • black picture, hat and wore a
corsage -of reel Briarcliffe roses. She
was attended by Mrs. W. G. McKinnon,
Clinton, sister of the groom, as matron
of honor, who was attired in navy
blue Mesh with black accessories and
wore a corsage of white Killarney
roses.
After the ceremony a reception was
held at the home of the groom's mother,
Rattenbury street W. Later the bridal
couple left on a motor trip to -'Mani-
toulin Island, ' the, bride travelling 'n
a brown and white printed jersey with
-.brown accessories. On their return,
.they will reside in Clinton.

A gravel truck operated for the
County of Huron by Junior Mason, of
Grand Bend, Struck a -tree on the
Thanes road near Exeter, and Mason
received injuries which sent him to St.

legiate Institute. The Blyth Continu-
ation School is being discontinued in
the adoption of the high School area
scheme.

Ball. The bride' is the 'daughter of
Mrs. Durnin and the late A..E. Durnin,
Lucknow, and the groom is the son
of Mrs. Ball and the late Nelson Ball,
Clinton. The bride, was lovely in a
powder blue dress With cascade front
and a • black picture, hat and wore a
corsage -of reel Briarcliffe roses. She
was attended by Mrs. W. G. McKinnon,
Clinton, sister of the groom, as matron
of honor, who was attired in navy
blue Mesh with black accessories and
wore a corsage of white Killarney
roses.
After the ceremony a reception was
held at the home of the groom's mother,
Rattenbury street W. Later the bridal
couple left on a motor trip to -'Mani-
