Lately an'addttional piece of land Was Secured, which will be levelled and landscaped to harmonize with the original plot. ti The Moving spirit in this work has ben John MacRae Too much credit cannot be . given hinm for his untiring efforts to improve -this plot over a period of many. years. He is now absent during the winter months and has indicated a desire to be relieved. At their annual' meeting on June 1.8th, 1946, those present, went on record as favoringa scheme of "per- petual care." This will entail the raising of a large sum of money, the interest from which will be devoted to the care and upkeep of the ceme- tery. Some donations _have _already been received and the call to those liv- ing far away who have loved ones buried in this plot is apparent. .
