Bisset, teacher of Latin, physical train-
ing and health, was honored by the
students prior to her leaving the school
service.. In the morning .Lames Don-
ne11y,, •on behalf, of the pupils of Grade
12, presented her with a silver lapel.'

class • on losing their popular form
teacher. In the afternoon all of the
students gathered in the auditorium,
and Miss Eleanor M u -tin acting for
-the Student Council presented the gift
.of the students, gold compact. Miss
Bisset on both oecas1ons -expressed her
gratitude to the students, her joy in
her Years of teaehing, and her regret
at leaving. This column wishes her
much future happiness.

around with a look of agony and ex-

sented at the meeting of the Wuanen.'s
Institute held in MacKay Hall on
Thursday, une Stlb. The meeting was
opened- with the Institute Ode,,,, and
eadiug by -Mrs. C. Young of passages
of Scripture b;tsed on. the, Ode,
The ;new president, Mrs. A. Wilkin,
in her introductory remarks urged that
all members co-operate to do their
utmost to accomplish even greater
things than- in the past, thus uphold-
ing the - tradition of Women's Insti-
tutes.. - -
A letter was read regarding the
national clothing drive, -also a letter
of thanks from, the Goderieli nsic
Club for the $25 scholarship donated
,to the Music Festival. The newly -
formed way's and means committee,
with Mrs. C. Holland as convener, re-
ported several money -making projects
in view and it was decided to hold a
silver tea at the home of Mrs. Holland.
'The members were reminded of the
hospital garden party. It was de-
cided to donate fir gift valued at $10- to
the- hospital.

having obtained eternal redemption for
" us" (Hebrews 9:11-12). -

W.A. .
It was decided to donate $20 for the
Deanery pledge.
An interesting account of two topics
from the'study book on "Africa Reaches
Forward," and "How the East Meets
the West" •was ably presented by Mrs.

The annual spring Deanery meeting
was held at Exeter on Wednesday,
'June 12th, and delegates who attended
were Miss Mills, Mrs. carr, Mrs. Stani-
forth, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Needham,
Miss :denary, Mrs. Riley, Mrs. Shore,
Miss Brown and Bliss Middleton.
The meeting was closed with prayer
