P. J. eantelon, Lighthouse street, were
pleased to welcome many frieiids and -�
neighbors at 11xeilr home, it, being the
twenty-llfth anniversary of their mar-
riage. They were assisted in receiv-
lug thein guests by Mrs. Ted Bisset
(Marion Curry) , who as flower girl
was the 'only attendanta at the wedding
twenty-five' years ago; also by their
daughter Catherine, Mrs. W. H. Robb
of Stratford; while Miss M. Jacqueline
See and Master John Bisset were the
door attendants, The ropms were
prettily deeorated , with baskets of
tulips and other garden flowers. The
dining table was quite pretty with a
lovely eutbroidered cloth, silver candle-
holders and candles.
In the afternoon Mrs. - Robert
Hueston, Bruce street, poured tea and
in the evening Mrs. - J. H. Robertson,
Wellington street. Assisting in serv-
ing were Mrs. D. J. Curry, Mrs. A. J.
Curry and Mrs. J. B. Whittingham.

pleasing,feai.ture when Mrs. Cantelon

a life -membership t certificate, the ad-
dress being read by Mrs: V6. J. Hodge.
Mrs, J.. B. Grahar`h, now past her ,four -
scare years, gave -gt =fine reading from
memory on Queen Victoria and the
Bible. Mrs. Jos. Janes contributed a
pleasing solo, accompanied by Rev.
Jos. Janes, and Miss Mary Buchanan
gave ,Several piano solos. The neigh-
bors also presented the couple - with a
gift of silver. Although "gifts grate-
fully declined" was a request, other .
gifts of silver, flowers, etc., were re-

D. McLean of Chatham, Out., Mr, and
Mrs. Cantelon are members .of the
United Church. Mrs. Cantelon takes'
an active part in „ W.M.S., Sunday
school and W.C.T.U. work. Mr. Can.te-
len in his younger days occupied all
the offices a layman could hold in the
Methodist Church. By a previous mar-
riage he has- a family of seven, living
in the' West and California.
Among those who attended the wed-
ding of twenty -live years ago who have
passedon to the Great Beyond were

J. Kelly (Hazel Belcher) ; the pianist,

The last meeting for the season of
the Teen -Age Club was held 'in the
gyninasinrn on Friday, May 301h.' If
was largely attended .and the members
were enthusiastic in their expressions
of appreciation to those responsible for
the success of this Undertaking. Spon-
sored by the Lions Club, and with the
indefatigable efforts of Lions G. E.
.Enierson and. J. W. Coates, the Teeif-
Age (flub • has "progressed 'f•ar beyond
the puny. infant stage. The Teen-Agers
have evinced .a keen interest in till its
activities since its inception. The

ly co-operation, to the School „Board
