INTERWIEDIAZE GROUP FORMED
At a wellatteuded meeting of the
W.O.A.A. held in Wjnghara ou Friday
evening last the Ooderic:h softball team
Ws given- a'grouping with -three other
'district teams in the mr.0.4.A. 111"ter-
ined1ate "A" bracket- The grouping:in-
cludes Clinton Town, Clinton Radio
School, Windham and Goderich.
The schedtlle opens nu al 30 with
the Radio School vs. Clinton. The
09citerich team's first game will be
at Wingham on May 31st.
The complete schedulewill appear
in this paper next week. •
"Nip" Whetstone and Joe Murphy
represented the Goderieh entry at the
Wingham meeting.
TOWN SOFTBALL, LEAGUR
The Goderich Elevator has with-
drawn its entry from the Town Soft-
ball League and unless another entry
can he arranged the schedule, which
was drawn up this week, will have
to be revised. Withdrawal of the
Elevator left Canadian Tire without
any opposition for the scheduled open-
ing game on Monday evening. The
league will get under way this (Thurs-
day) evening. however, with a game,
at Victoria Park between Dominion
Road, and Canadian Tire. The game
is called for 6.30. Canadian Tire is
expected to hook up with the Goderich
Township team on -Monday evening and
ranadian Legion will play Dominion
Road on Thursday evening next. ,
The eomplete revised 'schedule will
be published in The Signal -Star next
week.

The Maitland Golf Club wilI hold its
