first game of, their Ontario Juvenile
"B" -finals at : • Stratfof d, on Thursday
evening of last week.
Close to lifteea hundred Goderich
and district ,fans were an hand, 'aug-
mented by a sprinkling .,.of Stratford
people, to watch the two smart teen-
age teams hook up in .their all-fmtiart-
ant provincial final. ' The game was
played as. the second part of a double -
bill, following the -Thorold-Goderich'
Midget tussle. All - in all it was an
unhappy night for the Goderich fans,
as, after watching the Midgets get
knocked, out of the playoffs, they had
to wititiess the highly -thought -of
Juveniles':'o • dONvn"-te defeat as well.
There yere•.manys who thought that
the Lions • could hen beaten Barrie,
had the breakSz of the game gone other-
wise, or had Oat- ticks 'played up- to
previous performances, but the fact
stands that Barrie played for the
breaks and got them and that•is where
they pay-off in any ,league.
Goderich carried the ' play to the
Visitors for most of the game,' but due
to either a coating of water on the
