OBITUARY
MRS. R. S. ROBERTSON
• Chief Justice R. Robertson has
been bereaved, by . the „ death, of his
Wife; Laura Gertrude: Robertson, which
occurred at their home in Toronto on
Sunday evening after a long" illness.
r rs. Robertson was the daughter of
the late John • Segsworth of Toronto,
one of a family of ten of -whom only
one, Mrs, "Evelyn Brown of Hannibal;
Mo., now survives. Greatly beloved
in the family cIrefe,_ she leaves, besides
her husband, -four--sons and, one-daugh-
ter:
ne-daughter: 'Morton, of Gaits--,• r.r .Harald;
Fraser and John, of Toronto, and Mrs.
Mary Bal, wife of Dr. Kevan Bal,
of New York,, and seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Robertson was a fife .meniber •_of
,the Toronto Art Gallery, u,,,.xnember of
the Victoria College Women's :Associ-
ation, and before het" illness was a
member of the boardd,,ef the Belmont
Home for -,Aged Women and active in
the' Women's '"Missionary Society' • of
the United Church. Mr. A.l M. Robert-
son of town attended the funeral, which
was held at Toronto on Tuesday
afternoon.. _ • r

Mrs. Sarah Monteith Hamilton, of

after an illness of two years. • Her
husband, James Hamilton, predeceased

children. ' Mrs. Hamilton was ,one p1.

on September 28, 1870. Two of her
children survive, Mrs. Ernst E.
Dietzsch, of Dearborn, and Howard
C. Hamilton , of Detroit. She leaves
also three grandchildren, in Detroit
angl Dearborn; one brother, Henry C.
Monteith of - Powassan, Ont.; and '"two
sisters, Mrs. Jaitn-A.-�Datitts of Remit
and Mrs. T. T. Leckie of London (form-
erly -of Goderich) . Another son, Win-
ston A. Hamilton, was killed in an
accident at .Williams, ' Arizona, on Jan-
uary 13th • of this year.,
The funeral was., from Sutton fun-
ral-parlors,- -Detroit,---with• -interment.

avenue' Presbyterian church, where
