London, 'May 11. --The Mark Lona
Expos, in its review of the British
grain trade for the past week, says :--
Uugenial weather has prevailed.
There have also bean snow storms in
Scotland, in the north and south-east
of England And in Ireland. The sales
of Engliah wheat during the wesk
were 54,358 quarters at 38s ld, ag-
ainst 70,588 quarters at 888 2d dur•
ing the corresponding week last year.
Bueinese in foreign wheat is stagnant
bridge, 3 3 40cta •John How• under the influence of politics. Large
had a depressing influence. Under
the peace prospects wheat further de-
clined 2s. The off coast business was
confined to sales of two cargoes. one
of which was Calforuian. Five car-
goes arrived, five were withdrawn and
one cargo of Oregau and one of Oati—
forniau remained. The trade for
wheat ou passage is demoralized. At
the market to -day wheat was rather

Indian Supplies;" will be received at tuis office
ap to noon of MONDAY, 25th MAY,1885, for the
delivery of Indian Supplies during the fiscal
year ending 30th June, 1886, consisting of Flour,
Bacon, Groceries, Ammunition, Twine, Oxen,
Cows, Bulls, Agricultural Implen Buts, Toole,
&c., duty Haid, iu Manitoba and the North-
West Territories.
Forms of teuder coutaining full particulars
relative to the Supples re;uired, dates of de-
livery. &c., may be had by applying to the un-
dersigned. or to the Commissioner of Indian
Affairs at Regina, or to the Indian Office. Win-

Parties may tender for each description of
goods (or for any portion of each description
of goods) separately orfor all the goods called
for in the schedules.
Each Tender must be accompanied by an ac. •
cepted Cheque in favor of the Superintendent
General of Indian Affairs on a Canadian Bank
for at least five per cent. of the amount of the
tenders for Manitoba,tand ten per cent. of the
amount of the tenders for the North-West Ter-
ritories, which will be forfeited if the party ten-
dering declines to enter into a contract when
called upon to do so, or if he fails to complete
the work contracted for. If the tender be not
accepted the cheque will be returned,

ey value of the gcods they offer to supply, or
their tender will not be entertained.
