occurred on the Michigan Central at
Harwich. Mr. John Robbins sec-

and tried, but unavailingly, to per-
suade her to take some food. On
Weduesday night she showed signs of
illness, and Mese Hall, enpposing that

Sunday morning, the sick girl handed
to Mr. Hall a package of "Rough on
Rate," from which elle had taken a
dose, evidently some time during the
previous evening. When this ` was

hail by that time taken such a strong
hold on Misr. Stevenson', stomach,

about 2 o'clock ou Sunday afternoon
she died. The body was:retnoved to
Troy, N. Y., where the parents of the
deceased are buried. Her death has
been a great blow to her relations,
and is felt vevy deeply by ' Mre. Hall,
who bad tried to do all she could to
make things pleasant for her sister

An inquest was held at 'the house
and the jury, returned a verdict of
"death from poison," administered by
her own hand.
