Parsonage, Goderich, entertained the.
members of Union W, M. S. on Wed-
-nesday afternoon.' The meeting open-
ed with the Doxology, followed by . a
short prayer. The hymn, "Never
Nearer Than The Cross," was sung
followed by the ' Scripture .lesson;
Mrs. Geo. Mcllwain read the prayer;
the roll call was', responded to by the
text word, "Crucify." The hymn,'
"Widen _ T Survey The Wondrous
Cross" was sung, and the Missionary
Creeds repeated. Mr. and Mrs. Craik
very kindly sang a duet, "I'veFound
A Friend." . Mrs. Forest. McClure
read an article; "Our Lord At Pray-
er."' Sentence prayers were read by
Mrs. ' Jas. Young, Mrs. R. Mcllwain,
Mrs. Robt. McAllister, and Mrs. A.
Buchanan. The hymn, Christ the
Lord is Risen," was sung, and the
meeting closed with the Lord's Pray-
er. A daintily served lunch added to
the enjoyment of the guests.
The: Y. P. U, of Union Church will
meet the church on Friday even-
ing. Miss Marion .Calwell's group
will have charge.
Mar. and Mrs. Brock Orr, Donald and
Billie of Toronto, are 8penditig the
Easter vacation at Mr. J. W. Bell's.
Many in this community have been
sick with the measles.
Mr. Gordon Orr has been laid up
with blood -poisoning in his hand.
The quarterly communion service
will be 'held in Union Church next
Sunday at 3 p.m. Sunday School at
2 p.m. It is hoped there will be a

for Port Dalhousie, where he expects
to sail from this season. ,
Mr. Geo. Hewitt is very „poorly.
The heartfelt sympathy of the
community is extended to Mrs. Doyle
formerly Miss Gertrude .Blair and
family in their sad bereavement, on
the death of a loving husband and
father, Mr. Wm. Doyle,.. who died on

EXEMPTIONS AND DEDUCTIONS
Form T1-1935 is self-explanatory. The
exemptions and deductions are the same
for the .Ontario Income Tax as for the
Dominion Incomb Tax.
Your taxable income is also the same, with
two exceptions: (1)"you deduct the amount of
your Dominion Income Tax. (2) You add
all income received from 'Dominion of
Canada Bonds.
