McIlwain's last Thurs- day. In the absence of the president, and vice.president, through illnehs,- M'rs. Henderson presided, and the programme was, Mrs. John Young and Mrs. Allan Wilson, leading in prayer and Scripture reading with explanations by Mesdan es Tibble, Mcllwain and Stoll and Ruby Young; _ Mrs._ sang sante _a T solo very sweetly. The roll call vas answered by a Christmas message. Reports ;from the secretary and treasurer, showed an- interes`ing and progres- sive year, the recdipts being $15 in advance of 1984. Miss McIlwain took the chair for election of officers and friends who are left to mourn his passing. The Y. P. S. held their regular meeting on Sunday night. Wilmer Hardy presided, and Douglas Faegan read the Scripture lesson, and Rev. Geo.
