Fraser presided over the meeting and introduced the special speaker, Mrs. Lane . of ,Goderich, who . gave a very interesting report of the ais+t annual meeting of the OOntarIOE Pro- vincial Society which was held in Knox church, Toronto, on April 8, 10' and ,11. Phone .' 86 . ■ Es H,1,BBE RT 1o%"b Agent for Langley's Cleaners and Dyers Mrs. Lane, very vividly, presented to this branch the appeals made by mis- sionaries at the ,provincial meeting, in speaking of Dr. Goforth's address, in which 40 -pealed fir more workers Ior Manchuria!, she told of a Russian woman who came to the meeting to hear Dr. Goforth, and herself made 3 personal appeal to'those present to send mission- aries to Russia. A vote of thanks to the speaker for her inspiring address was moved by Mrs. 8. Houston and seconded by Miss Mary Reid.
