pital were Mrs. D. E. Campbell, the
• regent of the Chapter, and Miss. Claire

Scout committee. He stated that there
•are now about 65,000 Scouts in Canada
and it is the aim and the expectation of
the National Committee in charge of
the work, that this number shall he in-
creased to at least ,100,000 in the next
year.

being laid out by the body embracing all

The old Methodist New CorinexIon
church, Jocated, on Brock street and long
the Property of the town, is to be torn
down and the -bricks used in part, to
build the vault which is projected at the
Town 'Hall.

The Chapter is now considering the
best means of securing an adequate en-
dowment to.assure the continued upkeep

brought up at the 'first meeting of the

school on Friday, March lst, it was de-

The silver tea sponsored by me mem-
bers of the W. A. of North Street United
church at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.
Worsell, Kenya street -on Tuesday after-
noon, was well patronized by a large
number of delighted guests.
Wrs. Worsell, assisted by Mrs. Peaeoc
and Mrs. Harry Long, received and ush-
ered the guests into the tea room. A
profusion Of spring flowers made the
rooms bright and added to the beauty of
the lace decorated tea table adorned with
long candles.

tea room were Mrs. A. C. Clarke Mrs
