FATAL CAR ACCIDENT
Seaforth News: The community was
shocked to learn of the death of William
when, returning home frain, Seaforth, his
car collided with the concrete bridge, on
the Mill Road known as Reid's bridge,
less than two and a half miles east of
Brucelield. Mr. Berry has operated a
transport, truck hi the district for a
-number s)f years and was- well and fav-
orably known. The car had struck the
right hand abistment, swung over to the,
utheavest corner and turned tomplete-
ly around, facing- towards Seaforthrand
Mr. Berry 'was lying ori 'stile bridge, one
of the Whijalassesting on his houlder,
eye -witnesses state.

Seaforth News: 'Miss* Margaret Mc-
Naughton, ,a highly regarded resident of
Egmondville, passed away on Monday,
October 8th, ,at the age -Of 79 years.
Her demise oceurred at the home of her
brother, Mr. John McNaughton, lot 23„
About three weeks ago Miss IVIcNaught-
on went 'to her brother's home near

severely ill. She is survived by one
brother, Mr. John McNaughton, Tuck-
ersmith. 'A private funeral was held on
-Wednesday afternoon-, condueted by
Rev. W. A. Bremner of Brucelleld. The
service at the graveside in Egmondville
cemetery was conducted by Rev. C. A.
Malcolm of EgmondVille. The pall -
,bearers were Thos. Chapman. C. Fleur-
chutz, Alex. Gordon, John Murray, Thos.
