The Sturgeons •
The family troubles of the Sturgeons
of Hayfield next came up far an airing.
Mrs. Sturgeon asked. the court to see
that her husband supportedeher properly.

his wife and small daughter, aged six.

that he would give them a trial until

Phil Carter and Clarence Bridle Hurt
When purneo Boy Fatally Injured

Two young Ooderich men. Phil Carter
and Clarence Bridle, were passengers in
the Motor tar which -crashed into a. stal-
led Epps Transport truck at lerticefield
on Tueeday night and injured Harvey
Robinson so seriously that he died the
following morning.
Chas, BroWn, a fourth rider,' suffered
a fractured hip and ether injuriee,-while
Phil Carter and Clarence Bridle were
badly shaken up and received some cuts
and abrasions. . •

The young teen missed the first truck,

Some two hundred people journeyed
to Maitland cemetery on Sunday after-
noon, September 9th, to participate in
the ceremony ot the 'decoration of the
graves.
Soon after 2.30 a procession, heeded
by the --Town Band, and composed or
members of the 0.0.F., the Boy Scouts
and other organisations, as well as 'many
citizens, started on the long march to the
cemetery. Arrived there, they found

Rev. W. T. Bunt of the Baptiet ehurch
acted as chairman of the oceasion and
Rev. D. J. Lane of Knox Presbyterian
church, delivered the addrees. The lat-
