ing Co., claiming damages for false ar-
rest and malicious prosecution. The
case was heard at the Pall Assizes, when
Mr:-0nalow was awarded $1;OtO damages
by a, jury: The verdict, however, has
been overruled, his Lordship finding, that
the plaintiff 'had reasonable and probable
cause for _instituting criminal_ proceed-
ings, and dismissed the _action' without
