On its record of successful administration duffing rtae first term in oriit,ce, the Hepburn Government deserves to be returned to power --deserves the support and the vote of a1lD f '- banded people. Do your part to assure Ontario a contin- uance of go od government for another ttertra by vtniufig for' l 6,e Hepburn candidate in l+Ottaff rL'rEr11 To as E1eckxrz of Harron In again seeking the support of my. fellow -electors on election defy, October 6th, I am remindful and grateful for the splendid vote that was given me in the last election, and 1 also appreciate the confidence again placed in me at the Liberal Convention. - During my term as Member, 1 have ever been mindful of, the interests of file taxpayers of Huron County and have _sum-• ported Mr. Hepburn with his program of tax reductions., Much has been accomplished in the matter of Highways, Roads and Bridges for Huron. Under Premier Hepburn the Provi :•' cial Government has assumed the total cost of all highways and has increased by ten ler cent. the grant on all township roads. The Government has assumed the entire cost of Mothers' Allowances and of Old Age Pensions. The amuse- ment tax—a source of annoyance -has been lifted.- •• uo-` sidy of- of zmili on the local, assessment has been given to each; municipality. The reduction in Hydho rates has Meant dollars, to the consumers and is enabling the extension 'of this utility, to the farmers of this County. The latest saving, whicle benefits all motorists, is a $5.00 reduction in automobile !cense fees. Regardless of political affiliations, every citizen mast. admit, if he is sincere with himself, that the administration off Premier Hepburn has relieved the drain and strain of the tax- ' payers' pocketbooks in many ways. On 'October 6th you will have the opportunity of showing how much you appreciate the handling of the finances of this Province. The savings that have been effected for the people if the County of Huron since the Hepburn Administration took office amount to the, amazing sum of $336,175.55, and are made up as follows : Savings fir' ceied G C7 dizo Pcc „-'Lo d Hu.2on Com -sty same() ttEe I iicp ..= AcIlmithalmolon Toon Office: 20 per cent. east of Provincial linglacvaiyA, now o assumed by Government to Mare i 21. 1937 Hlghwayta assumed by Government Wince t;pen; by Government. less 59% 31.199.414 Ineretwed ()tints Tovinhlp noada, 40 to Yd) per rent. ---10%, equals „ ,..,,.i :................
