have secured the services of Mr. Ellis

to commence September 3rd: Miss
Madeline Ceasar, who has been teacher

Jetrid, Anderson, who graduated with
matriculation .at the convocation of
Alma College, St. rkhonias, on Tuesday,
are .twin daughters of Mrs. Anderson
and the late Rev. •Eric L. Anderson,
formerly of Lambeth.- Mrs.. Anderson
is° now residing in Auburn. Miss

music. ' The young ladies received
many gifts • and numerous telegrams.
They will enter training school for
nurses at -Stratford General Hospital

the TJnited church on Sunday morning
was observed by a . good attendance.
The church 'was beautifully decorated
with ferns and lovely spring flowers,
mauve .and yellow colors; predominat-
ing. Singing” canaries., were placed
'amongst the Sowers and burst into
song at' intervals: While' the prelude,
"Joyous March," was played, by. the
organist, the„ Sunday school children
fled in, from the 'baseaiaeut and up the
aisle, each. ,offering a bouquet of
flowers ' which • was placed on a' stand
and by Mrs. •Viekerson and Mrs. Amy
Orser. The young folks continued to
the choir loft arid. joined iii the songs
of praise. They. also sang two of
their favorite hymns used in Sunday
school,, Mrs. Roy Finnigan ',gave an
-appropriate—reading...on nature _ anal`
flowers. Miss Marietta Stingel sang a
solo; "The Golden Rule.” Rev. R. J.
Vicker,son gave,• a short talk on mature
and flowers". Miss Dorothy Robb,
violinist, accompanied Mrs, .Stiugel,
organist, for the congregational hyzrins.
