and a -half bolus.
The evidence disclosed that Dillon
had under lease 1900 acres of natural
gas Janda in linehestertevananip, Essex
eOunty, in whit% he was selling royal-
ties in Huron, Perth alai ether (*mitres
to raise money with which_ to develop
his properties.
The Magistrate held that laillon was
a bona.'prospector, that he was
selling an interest in his gas properties
in good faith and did not need a stook
salesman's license to do so, and that
the proposition had •been fully ex-
plained to customers, who went into the
speculation with their eyes wide open.
He refused to allow Lorne C. Sharpe,
counsel for thenSecurities, Commission,
to go into Dillon'a past record.
