Barn Destroyed by
Fire at Noon Today
RoSs McPhee, farmer on the Col-
borne -West N'Vewanosh boundary, suf-
fered a heavy loss to -day (Thursday)
about -12.30 p.m., when his fine barn
was burned to the ground. ,
,Threshing operations were in pro-
gress and ° Vilere almost -completed when
fire was seen to come out of the blower
of the machine. The straw ,Stack
in-
side the barn immediately caught fire;
and soon thes whole building was a
mas's of flames.
The separator, belonging. to ° Wm.
Wa telon, was destroyed', and. three
pigs, three calves, a bull; a largp
quantity of grain- and- some farm
