Navigation—e tribute tothe meniory of
623688 Aircraftsman 'John Spencer
Debenliam of the Royal Air Force. The.
late John Debenham's home was in
Farnham, Surrey England. He was
born October 10th, 1018, accidentally
drowned in Lake Huron on, December
7th, -1940, buried on December 30th,
1940. The 'temporary wooden pross
has been made by ,comrades ef the
Royal Air Force, and _bears a cerving
with the motto ereieardua ad •estra."
In due course, the Imperial War Graves
Commissionwill erect a more permen-
ent, memorial- It _will beerernen isaere

lost his life in making- a valiant effort
to save Debenhara. Unfortunately his
body, has not been recovered.
