has claimed another highlyesteemed
resident of the village, In the person
of Joseph B. Carter, wbo passed AWAY
about noon, on Saturday. The deceased

gaged in his garden and keeping up his

pneumonia,' which hastened his death.
Ur. Carter, who was seventy-nine years
of age, was bore in MeKillop', township,
