sad duty of recording the death of Mr.
John Winkenweder, sr., which sad
event occurred on Thursday night of
last week. Mr. Winkenweder was ta-
ken ill of typhoid fever five weeks ago
and during his long illness bore his
sufferings with Cleristian courage.
This is the fourth death in thie family
in a little over a month from thisisante
dread disease. In the, death of this
gentleman the neighborhood loses one
of its best ,citizens and the family a
husband and father who was always
beloved. The wife and several of a
family survive, two of wboin aree
