Mr. J. G. Jones has just received
from the Experimental fern) between
thirty and forty dried samples, of the
,most dreaded noxious weeds and their
seeds tl3at ere so fast gaining geotind
throtighout faanada, . These samples
have been .specially prepared at the
request of Mr e Jones who will keep
them on exhibition at his store for the
benefit ef farmers who wish to famili-
arize themselves With those unwel-
eserne species that they May eradicate
them when discovered. Each card On
which a sample is attached gives a de-
scription and. ,a0,W fladby seeds each
healthy 1317£13i 1011 produce; some
reaching into many thousands. This
question of dealing with weeds is one
that is pressing itself upon all who
have regard for either the appearance
or productivenessof their farms. They
are a great hindrance to a farmer's
success, occupying•Ipace and using up
